The sight of a blocked toilet bowl does not make for a good sight at all. And it is not just about what you see. A clogged toilet could constitute serious health hazards for everyone in its vicinity. Here are some steps that can be taken and which you may find useful in successfully dealing with the problem of a blocked toilet. See our front page for contact details.

Here are the Steps how to unclog toilet when nothing works:
Step 1: Preparation
It is important to be well prepared before setting about unclogging your toilet. You sure do not want to compromise your health or mess up everywhere in the process. To this end, you need to put something that could help soak up any potential spill on the floor, say, pieces of newspaper or rags or old towels. Common pipe plumbing problems can usually be cleaned up with things like these. This makes for easy cleaning later on. Ensure there is adequate ventilation by freeing all openings. It is advisable to wear proper rubber gloves, especially if you intend dipping your hand into the bowl. You should als
o endeavour not to flush more than once before proceeding to guard against an overflow.
Step 2: Pour Baking Soda and Vinegar
If you are not in a rush, you may want to test if baking soda and vinegar can help you deal with the issue. Pour a box of baking soda into the toilet bowl. Next, slowly pour in a bottle of vinegar (medium size). The reason this has to be poured in slowly is to prevent excessive foaming that could result from the mixture of baking soda and vinegar. You then let the mixture rest for 15-20 minutes before flushing with about four litres of hot water. The water should not be too hot to avoid the possibility of cracks in the bowl. If possible, you may do this in the night to allow the mixture enough time to work until the next morning.
Step 3: Plunge it

If you don’t seem to be getting anywhere dealing with this issue, it is time to plunge the blocked toilet. A plunger is sometimes the only tool that is required to deal with this problem. This may also be true in your own case. But when using a plunger, you will do well to get a ball-shaped or funnel-shaped plunger for efficient results. You need to make sure there is enough water in the bowl to cover the plunger.
Plunge in gently the first time to avoid being sprinkled with unholy water. This will allow the air caught in the plunger to escape. You can start plunging forcefully in and out once the toilet hole is sealed by the plunger. The force could help to expel the clog. You may have to repeat the process several times.
Step 4: Use a Coat Hanger

You may also want to try out a wire coat hanger if you have not yet succeeded in unclogging your toilet. Undo the twisted ends of the hanger and have one end wrapped with a rag to prevent damaging the china bowl. Insert the wrapped end into the toilet drain, pushing and twisting to remove any clog in there. This can only help when the obstruction is not deep in the drain.
Step 5: Try out a plumbers snake
A plumber’s snake could be the ultimate remedy for your clogged toilet. This is especially the case when the obstruction is deep inside the drain, close to the septic tank. Also known as an auger, a plumber’s snake is essentially a long coil of wire with a tip like that of a corkscrew. It is inserted into the toilet drain and pushed in until an obstruction is encountered.
The snake is then twisted to either break through the obstruction or trap and pull out the obstacles. This could be the perfect remedy for your blocked toilet.
It is probably time to get professional assistance if these tips do not give you the desired results. Avoid the temptation of pouring harsh chemicals into your toilet drain, as they usually produce corrosive effect that is neither friendly to your drain nor your eyes nor skin.
